No longer need to take off shoes at TSA checkpoints

And in lighter news, starting Sunday, airports will no longer require passengers to take off their shoes as they go through the TSA checkpoints on their way to the gates.  Now people don't need to apply for TSA Pre-check in order to not have to take off their shoes at the security checkpoints.

Have a great day!

This will speed up the scanning process, but take note that the scanners will go off if they detect metal in your shoes and those setting off the scanners will have to remove their shoes and be scanned again.

I have TSA precheck and on my return from Vegas last week and after years of flying with the same belt I had to take my belt off.  Consistency is not a TSA  trademark

Inconsistency IS the TSA trademark ...

Trump doesn't care if someone blows up an airliner as long as he's not on it.

That said, he wouldn't have ordered this change unless he somehow personally profited from it. Maybe the head of TSA stuffed a couple of million into Trump's pocket?

Totally agree.  Have had pre-check for years and some times I have to take off the belt, other times I don't.

I love it when the scanners pick up the scars from my umbilical hernia surgery. It so much fun getting poked and prodded in that area.

LOL.     This change was actually being considered by the Biden Admin. and would have been put into affect whether Harris or Trump won.  You crack me up with your conspiracy theories and how just about anything that happens involves Trump.  You give Trump what he craves, attention.  Well done!
