A non-political topicDo

I should have posted this months ago, but over Labor Day weekend we did our 35th annual Las Vegas buddies weekend...............yes we're old.  For some time, I'd wanted to take our group to Downtown's Carson Kitchen, and this year I finally pulled it off.  13 of us hit the Carson, and it couldn't have been more outstanding.  Prices are amazing inexpensive, by Vegas standards.  The Carson is about four blocks in the wrong direction, but worth the trip.  When I way wrong direction, we walked off the East side of the Freemont street Experiance, and walked about two blocks south on Las Vegas blvd.  Then it was a 1/3 mile or so walk from there east to the Kitchen.  Everyone loved the place, and we have a few foodie types.

PJ has sent me to some great places over the years, and I suspect that he recommended this joint in the past.  I never made it until last Labor Day weekend.

Glad you had a great trip, Boiler.

I've not been to Carson Kitchen but everybody raves about it.    I've seen pictures - looks like they do a great brunch in there.    I'll need to check it out next trip

I've become a big fan of the Donut Bar which is next door.   You can get a fancy donut and coffee for less than just the coffee at Starbucks.

Hey PJ.  I noticed that Donut Bar when entering Carson.  Some good looking stuff.
