I have NEVER been so glad to be wrong. He's staying in the race, and the NC GOP came out with a statement backing him. So now every Republican gets to be asked, do you back Robinson. And Trump probably won't be able to keep his mouth shut.
So it's come to this. The Republican Party is now unable to denounce an actual self-proclaimed Nazi.

Boy, is he ever going to be an albatross for them. But the danger for them goes well beyond just this guy. Thoughtful voters will ask, "Well, if this guy turned out to be a total scumbag, how many other closet Nazis are there in the GOP?"
My guess would be "About half of them," given how closely their professed platform and beliefs align with those of the Nazi party.
