If an individual is trans, it's their business. A line is crossed when a biological male attempts to compete with biological females in assorted sanctioned sporting events; it's unfair( and potentially physically harmful) to all women that the liberals claim to support outside this particular issue anomaly. Where did all the long-standing 'women's rights' backers from the left run off to regarding this issue? Plus, there's issues such as natural law and common sense tenets that applies to this competition issue as well. Bio-guys competing against bio-women is not a fair foundational base; look at the long proven 'science' ( to bring up a common liberal comparative phrasing) regarding strength, lung capacity etc on that, girls and boys.
If trans athletes want to compete, let them form their own competition groups / leagues with sliding scale rules based on gender identity. How are they going to arrive at an accurate rules base from which to operate? The proportion of trans athletes vs all the rest is less than negligible, so there will likely never be any sort of sustained pro trans leagues of any kind. And don't ask me to pay for these things with my tax dollars, either.

As I have said before, I don't think male to female trans should be able to compete in women's sports. Biological males have a much higher bone density than females and it creates an unfair advantage.
I don't see a problem with female to male trans competing in men's sports because it is a competitive disadvantage.
