He called out the Republican assholes who are dedicated to making everyone's lives miserable. That didn't sit well with them.

Fox Nooze waited breathlessly for him to stutter or make an error about someone's name, but they didn't get any material to play over and over and over and over to "prove" that we should all vote for the stable genius instead of Biden.

I think it went very well for Biden. I didn't bother to watch whatever the Alleybammer bitch said in response--I'm sure it was the same old shit (BILLYUNS O' ILLEGULS A'FLOODIN' ACROSS DA BORDER, etc.).

The signal moment for me was when Biden pointed out that women...vote. And by extension, there will be consequences for those who try to strip away their rights.

I think  he may have used Fox News for source material.

It's interesting that their actual news department (a small subset of the whole apparatus, but still) has been reporting the truth, even if that truth hurts the MAGA insurrectionists.

My personal evaluation is that yes, prices are higher--but people have more money. It's ridiculously easy to find well-paying jobs now. I remarked in another thread that I've come out of retirement in order to substitute teach, because of the money being offered. I'm earning an awesome summer vacation (NOT Vegas).

The economy is doing very well, and the last thing we should do is elect the Orange Fuckface. He did nothing for the economy other than cut corporate taxes in half, which benefited no one except their stockholders. And he says he's going to destroy the Affordable Care Act, our alliance with NATO, etc. etc. etc. etc, etc. He's nothing but a wrecking ball. A big, fat, ugly orange self-shitting wrecking ball.

I don't know about that, Kevin.   Calling deceased nursing student, Laken Riley, Lincoln Riley, is a pretty big gaffe.  It's making the rounds pretty good right now.  

He mispronounced a name no one had ever heard of before??? His brain must be jello!!!!

But people know who Lincoln Riley is.....The football coach at Southern Cal, so that got people curious.  And then when it comes out how she was killed, of course people are going flood social media and go after Biden.  

The fact is he did mispronounce a name during the STOU, contrary to what Kevin posted.  

The new norm at State of Union Addresses as led by Democrat presidents is to have the Republicans in the audience act like heckling neandrathals.     MTG was trying to shout down the speech....then all of her dipshit colleagues joined in.   The only thing missing was Boebert jerking off Matt Gaetz.

Sleepy Joe looked like Rocky Balboa  - especially compared to the trainwreck response that looked like a Saturday Night Live satire of a bad soap opera.

Actually, Edso, what I said is that he didn't give Fox Nooze any red meat to chew on. He made several minor verbal slips, in fact, but nothing--including mispronouncing that person's name--was anything for Fucker Carlson, etc. to latch onto.

And of COURSE that one minor slip is "making the rounds" now. Why is that? I'll give you a minute to think about it.
