Now Trump wants Cuba

You used that lie to "prove* that all Cubans hate their country and long for Trump to come and rape them.

Why would 18% of the population leave their country if they loved it?

I don't recall him using the word all when he said they left on rafts. 

He implied it when he said "they" rather than the more accurate "a few."

It's a tired, old, and childish rhetorical device. Make a generalized statement about an entire group/population and imply that it applies to all of them. You've seen it before: "people are saying," blah blah.

But put Tom's childish speech mannerisms aside. He tried to contradict my statement that Cubans love their country by saying that some have left it, and often under fire and desperate circumstances.

How does that show that Cubans don't love their country?

How does that show that the people who left didn't/don't love their country?

Tom is just following his orange master's lead by shitting on Cuba. He's on a very short leash and is a loyal lackey.

Because economic conditions are difficult and they want a better life.

Those economic conditions are bad because of decades of US embargos and political opposition. We don't trade with them, even though we easily could. They could be an attractive vacation destination, being so close to the US.

That a person finds he is unable to thrive in his country and decides to leave does NOT mean that he loves his homeland any less. The tens of millions of Europeans who emigrated to the US in the 19th century didn't live their home countries any less, and took their customs and traditions with them.

As a drooling, loyal Trump slave, Tom has adopted the MAGA "ME HATE ALL FILTHY IMMIGRANTS" mantra. Being a Turd lackey has cooked his brain.

Those are some good questions to ask him. All I know is he didn't use the word all and when I read his use of the word they I did not infer it to mean all. 

I would wager that the only person who thought he meant all was you. Although I don't really think that you thought he meant all I think you were just trying to pretend that you thought that. I think you knew what he meant.

There are a lot of reasons. I could envision scenarios that make me feel I had to leave my country. I can't envision anything that would cause me to no longer love my country. One can hate the government and still love the country. 

Just because political, economic, and social reality causes one to have to seek a better life elsewhere does not mean that they do not love where they are from. 

Oh sure. Because I don't think AMURRICA should be conquering other sovereign nations, that makes me a COMMIE. And because I don't think Trump should be threatening to do that, I must be ANTI-AMURRICAN.

Tom lacks basic formal education; otherwise, he would know about the time in the US when everyone who expressed opposition to the administration's policies was labeled a COMMIE and hounded from their careers and public life, and some were imprisoned.

I don't think that you really don't understand what I mean. You can say they blah blah blah about any group of several million and as long as it's true for two of them, that statement isn't false.
