The interested reader should know that I have recently fallen in love with the Indian dish called Tikka Masala. I'm visiting family in Chicago this weekend and will be cooking Chicken Tikka Masala for our group this Sunday. The type of side salad is still under consideration.
While I love this dish, I fully support one's right to hate it. More importantly I support one's ability to verbalize their hatred in public for this dish without Liberals whining about it like tiny children. You people are fucking nuts.
If anyone wishes to view my recipe for Tikka Masala, let me know and I'll post it.
I loved a sandwich served years ago at Bellagio Cafe called "Chicken Tandoori." It sounds Indian or something close, but I ordered it every time until new management chose to eliminate it from the menu. Delish.
Indian food was never a big favorite, but at our Indian department chief's Christmas party he always had Indian offerings (Catered), some I liked better than others, but hey, a party, different offerings, what idiot would actually complain? Just drink more and everything will taste better. LOL.
I don't like sushi at all, but hooray for those that enjoy it. In fact the closest I come to eating fish of any kind is fried catfish (with lots of tartare sauce). I don't even like salmon. I wish I did like it because it is heart healthy, or so they say. Good for those who do.
Oh, I baked some "pampano en papalot" myself, my SIL's recipe, (baked in a paper bag in the oven). We caught the pampano ourselves somewhere close to Ft. Walton beach during a trip to Florida staying in a condo. Made my own slaw, went to Capt. D's for hush puppies and fries. Best meal ever. Pampano are small but divinely tasty.
Open mouth, insert foot. Who hasn't? Worse when done during a radio or TV or newspaper review, but not a mortal sin. Get over it! Too much of this crap. I wish the guy didn't apologize, actually. Of course he might have stood to be fired if he didn't...who knows.
