Deblasio has created this problem, but not shown in the video was a cop who walked away after someone poured a bucket of water on him.
If a cop is going to allow this to happen, that cop should think of another career path, perhaps a mall cop.

DonDiego supposes that, perhaps the likely-Republican perpetrators were bussed into Democrat Districts to make them look bad.

Apparently whoever controls the New York City Hall and the New York Legislature is likely responsible. Residing in Appalachia DonDiego is unfamiliar with the "right vs left" composition of these institutions.
The real tragedy is people try and make the public pick sides politically ... just like this thread.
We're not allowed to judge actions by their own morality. We have to showboat them for a political fight.

I'm smart and compassionate enough to recognize cops have a tough job but that does not give them free license to shoot people in the back, violate legal search rights, or incorprate racial profiling.
I also recognize people have the right to speak out against a group they beileve to be guilty of above actions...but that does not give them free license to assault police.
I dont attribute either perspective to being politically liberal.
That kind of behavior does not happen in Texas. Everyone of those who assulted the police officers would have been arrested on the spot and jailed. There is no "picking sides" here. Right is right and wrong is wrong. It is called common sense, a concept liberals cannot grasp.
