Oil and gas prices expected to stay significantly lower through 2026

Americans say "thank you" to President Trump --Oil and gasoline prices are expected to decline next year, according to the latest forecast from the Energy Information Administration (EIA). The EIA published its November Short-Term Energy Outlook last month, which projected that the price of Brent crude oil will decline from $69 a barrel in 2025 to $55 a barrel next year. That would be well below the $81 per barrel that prevailed in 2024. Gas prices are also projected to continue their decline into next year. Retail gas prices averaged $3.30 a gallon in 2024 and are at $3.10 a gallon this year, but are projected to decline further to $3 a gallon in 2026, according to the EIA's report. -- Some comments -- Prices dropped significantly right before Thanksgiving, and have continued to drop. There are several stations at $1.78 in the Denver metro area today -- Just paid $2.79/gal. Not $7.29 like California! -Paid 2.10 today. My gas prices are still higher than when Biden left office. Why didn't Trump keep his promise to cut fuel prices in half? 

Oh, and fuel prices drop when we are in a recession because people cut back on unnecessary travel.

Pretty much everything I predicted about what would happen if Trump served a second term has come true. You Aaron and every MAGA here were wrong about everything. Now you both spend your time making pathetic excuses for Trump (participation trophy?) and never acknowledge how wrong your predictions were.

 Keep telling yourself that as President Trump continues to clean up the mess brain dead Biden and the DemocRATs did to America. I don't remember you complaining about what the DemocRATs were doing as they tanked the economy the past 4 years.

Did prices come down on day one?

Did the war in Ukraine end on day one?

Is Trump trying to make the US a one party state?

Are gas prices half of what they were when Trump took office?

Have energy costs gone down by half?

Have there been unlawful political prosecutions?

Did Trump rename the Department of Defense the Department of war?

Is Trump currently planning an invasion of Venezuela to steal their oil?

Has there been a military occupation of blue cities?

On that last one I was told by the MAGAs here I was a crazy for thinking such a ridiculous thing. Yet, here we are.

How about instead of pointing fingers you take some personal responsibility for getting things wrong. Perhaps, if you practiced a little humility now and then you might not find yourself alone on Thanksgiving. 

Consider that David tells us that Biden was dead during his entire term, yet somehow did all sorts of horrible things that "destroyed America." Pretty amazing for a dead person to do that!

David thinks that insulting and calling liars those who disagree with him somehow defends his views. Actually, his behavior shows how weak those views are.
