65+ sounds young to me. But I'm staying in.
The PLAN is based on science. Scientists agree with the PLAN. They disagree that now is the time. They are looking at the virulence of the virus to an unprotected population (everyone in the United States) and the nature of humans to run amok starting the first opening day. Look at the protest crowds...they are putting you and me at risk. Get it?
My opinion, we should be very afraid. I pray I am wrong.
Contact tracing, a major part of containment, will be way more difficult when things are opened up. Tracers need to know where you (the positive/recovered) have been, who you came in contact with, where those persons may be now so they can find them and trace who they've been in contact with, etc.
Uh, Walmart, movie theater, this restaurant and that one, a concert.
Who was in those places? Whom did you come close to?

Actually, the support for the President has INCREASED in the 65+ crowd who understand what the President is saying about reopening the nation. The MEDIA have distorted what he said and have stirred up the mental morons, like Mark, who beileve CNN, the Washington Post, and the other lying media rags.

Once I read a Yahoo/ poll, I knew it was and is bullshit. Do you have any truthful source, jackass?
Lets be clear - there is no "plan" at the Federal level. There are Federal guidelines that Dr Fauci and the CDC have put forward which the president openly feuds with while outsourcing all responsibility to the state governors to proceed as they wish.
But if we assume the CDC is the correct path forward than it is a known fact there is not enough testing available to open the economy yet.
If we assume Georgia's governor knows more than the CDC then we can open up this week with continued social distancing and other precautions.
I dont know whose plan will prove to be better. I do know the president has removed himself from any responsibility or accountability in that decision. And thats pretty pathetic.
