1) Is that actually a sport?? (I've said that several times in the last few days.)
2) Why do so many people like soccer, a game where every score is 1-0...unless it's 0-0?
3) The Olympics weren't planned to coincide with the US Presidential election, but it's nice that we're getting a break. This is a time, every four years, when we need one.
4) The French can be very whimsical when they want to. And like clockwork, somebody always gets kerfuffled. And it's always absurd. Drag queens and The Last Supper? HUH???
5) I can't help but feel sorry for athletes who bust a gut to get to the Olympics and then it all blows up in one 45-second suboptimal performance.
6) I want thumb wrestling to be an Olympic event.
