The national debt just hit 22 trillion today and the fiscal hawks of the Republican party have managed to put the annual deficit right back to where they left it in 2008. We are now borrowing over a trillion dollars a year...and its not for the Green New Deal. And they havent stopped there. Now they want money for Da Wall too!
So who are the kids at the candy store again?
Let me know when Democrats reveal their plan for the Green New Deal to be paid for by oil revenues from Iraq... or by Mexico ....or by Tax cuts. Unlike the Freedom Caucus I'll be sure to call out people who sell that crap
The green deal would more than double taxes and or the debt, eliminate entire industries & put millions out of work.
Green Industries employ more people than fossil fuels. And they are growing faster than those industries too (even without the green new deal). Just ask the coal miners in Appalachia how many job openings they've had since the "Coal New Deal" took over in 2016.
And I'm sorry if I cant take your commentary about deficits seriously. See my last post. Democrats pay for their legislation. They dont tell you another country will.

We can judge Democrats payment plan when the bill goes up to vote. Until then people who truly care about deficits should be concerned about the actual causes instead of hypothetical ones.

Thats right - there is no official bill for anything. its just a broad outline of goals thats not even out of committee yet nevermind an official bill in Congress thats been scored and presented for vote. So all your crying about "the green new deal" deficit is whole lot of nothing....especially given the backdrop of the current fiscal incompetance of your endorsed leadership.
You seem to be so much more upset about the imaginary vs the reality.
