She is in Minnesota now. My house is up for sale. If it works out we will both consider relocation.
As long as this isn't transactional...keep your finances separate. I couldn't be more serious about that precaution. Don't co-own any asset, especially property. Pay separately (50/50) for shared expenses.
You HAVE to know whether she's simply trying to improve her situation or her affection for you is genuine and has no strings attached. The only way to do that is to make sure that the whole endeavor isn't profitable for her and doesn't place assets in her hands. I'm sorry, but that's the reality. It's how the effin' world works.
