One of the voices of reason from the right side of the aisle

Rand Paul objects to what he sees as  unconstitutional actions in Venezuela.

Makes it clear he will not approve any military force against Greenland or its people.

Yeah, but unfortunately, he's pretty much alone among Republicans in daring to voice a peep of criticism of Trump. The vast majority of them are cowering and subservient lackeys, either out of fear or mostly, enthusiastic, drooling love for their orange master.

Also, Paul is regarded by both sides as a bit of a kookoobird and Trump, for whatever reason, has never come down on him for his apostasy, like he has with Liz Cheney or Marjorie Taylor Ugly.

Paul and Massey do seem like pretty much the only ones right now. With most others I think it's more fear than it is enthusiasm. Which certainly doesn't make it any less disappointing or disturbing.

I think part of the reason Trump hasn't come down on Rand Paul is he has more support than Cheney or Green. He's been a senator longer and could likely take more approval ratings from Trump than Cheney or Green. He has a lot of fans among the people. Especially in Kentucky.

I know he is seen as a bit kooky but I think that is largely because he often refuses to blindly tow the line. He has ideological consistency and that scares the establishment. On both sides. Part of why many in the Democrat establishment treat Bernie Sanders the way they do.
