A police officer was in his cruiser, with a handcuffed suspect in the back seat, when he shouted into his radio, "Shots fired! Shots fired!" and as recorded on his body cam, dove out of the vehicle, rolled onto the street, yanked out his service weapon, and emptied the clip into his own car. He was apparently aiming at the suspect, who thankfully survived.
What prompted this reaction on the cop's part was an acorn hitting the roof of the car.
This is the state that elected Ron DeSantis, so, no real surprise here.
