Only 612 Electric USPS Trucks Delivered After Allocating $3 Billion

 More tax payer money pissed away by the brain dead Biden Administration -- As everyone knows, the Inflation Reduction Act was nothing of the sort. It was the Green New Deal dressed up as something else. Remember Joe Biden's speech to the DNC in 2024, where he bragged about building 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations? As of May, $7.5 billion has been spent — and only seven chargers have been built. -The US Postal Service has spent more than $3 billion in tax dollars on a brand-new all-electric fleet of mail trucks — and gotten just 612 vehicles for its money, according to a letter sent to Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and obtained by The Post. Former President Joe Biden’s 2022 Inflation Reduction Act set aside billions for what Ernst has since ripped as a green “boondoggle” that saw almost all of that amount paid to Wisconsin-based defense contractor Oshkosh to design and build 35,000 new environmentally friendly mail trucks. Only $4.9M per truck and $1B per charger

It's stupid to make that calculation, since most of the vehicles haven't been delivered. 

Also, the benefit of the chargers extends over a period of several years. Electric vehicles are much, much, much more efficient than gas powered vehicles in stop and go driving.

  You have a point, it has only been 3 YEARS since the contract was let to build 35,000 new "envoromentally friendly" mail trucks of which only 612 have been built and are in use, at a cost of more than $3 billion dollars.-- You can say the same for the 500,000 electric charging stations - of which ONLY 7 have been built at a cost of  $7.5 BILLION dollars - that brain dead Biden bragged about building. What is stupid is the fact that the Biden administration has pissed away billions while not delivering on producing the aforementioned number of vehicles and charging stations promised. A classic example of DemocRAT governing on display. Yeah, it is really stupid to state these facts.....

35,000 are due by 2030.  They have a lot of work to do achieve this goal.

Just because Trump-pig is too STOOOPID to realize the benefits of EVs doesn't mean they aren't worth acquiring. In particular, stop-and-go in-town delivery burns a LOT of gas, but an EV doesn't burn any gas at all. The USPS vans require about $3 worth of electricity to charge. A child could see, they're a superior alternative.

Of course, what's really going on here is Trump's inane crusade to "void" everything Biden did. He's against EVs because Biden was for them. Simple as that.

President Trump's opinion of electrical vehicles has nothing to do with all of the billions spent and the non producion of charging stations and vehicles.
