Also...and this is maybe the greatest danger...some of those lackeys appear willing to fall on their swords for Trump and say that the insurrection was all their idea and Trump didn't really know what was planned. Absolute tommyrot, of course, but enough for Trump to claim reasonable doubt as to his culpability. Just like Nixon's aides tried to be the fall guys.
