President Biden stumbled repeatedly Tuesday during remarks on US aid to Ukraine — saying the United States “made sure Russia had Javelins” and noting the successful “Hungarian” resistance to Russia’s invasion.

He also admits that abortion is killing a child.

“The idea that we’re going to make a judgment that is going to say that no one can make the judgment to choose to abort a child, based on a decision by the Supreme Court, I think goes way overboard,” he said.

Might as well get over it Tom.  The Supreme Court just made reproductive health care rights the number one issue in 2022 and 2024.

They just need to understand what is at stake.  I think we will even be able to peel off some Republican women now. They take birth control, morning after pills and are rape victims too.

He's wrong about that. Abortion CANNOT be "killing a child," because if it's a child, it's been born (and it's NOT a child if it HASN'T).

I wonder if the RepubliQ are overestimating the power of "the base." Polls consistently show that 70% of Americans want Roe to remain settled law. That means that using a metric of 45% Democrat, 45% Republican, 10% independent, even if all Democrats favor Wade, still, 55% of Republicans favor it as well.

Anti-abortion crusades are only approved of by religious wingnuts, misogynists (a category that includes many RepubliQ women, unfortunately), and drooling members of the Trump crowd.

I find it utterly abhorrent that a woman should be forced to complete her pregnancy under any circumstances. It's her body. Her choice. Keep the government out of it!
