An opinion pole about the forum

If they implemented a post limit, I'm sure David would attempt to create multiple accounts to post with. It would probably take him some time to figure it out, but from what I've seen, he has plenty of that to devote to a pointless endeavor.

I agree with Candy.  The sink just makes people mad and not friendly and needs to go away.  Members attacking one another is not fun, and we gain nothing

I'd definitely support a thread limit. It would prevent the start page from being MILLER MILLER MILLER MILLER MILLER, which disgusts people and drives them away.

I make short, disdainful replies to his initial posts, reading only the thread title in most cases, in order to perform a public service: cleaning up all the Miller. Think of me as the Sink's sanitation engineer. Or its dog poop scooper-upper.

You might be forgetting that when David goes on one of his Vegas get-slaughtered trips, the Sink returns to what it's for...a discussion forum. It was both peaceful and interesting the last time he was absent, which unfortunately never lasts very long.

While David does start and comment on a lot of threads, kevin is just as busy.

At the moment kevin has 7 of of the 10 threads on the first page and many of his comments are vile and usually consist of wishing that various people and groups would die.

The LVA has gone out ot its way to constantly change the forum rules to accomodate kevin's vile comments.

Might be a silver lining, though. Since red goober states are more likely to listen to RFK's conspiracy theories, more kids there will die and not grow up to be MAGAs

they are both insane and it would be good if LVA deleted this forum and enforced political bans in the other forums.  If you cross the line, permanent ban and no more LVA coupon book under your name.

There is no real reason for this forum in a place dedicated to Las Vegas and gambling, in fact, it makes the LVA name look bad.

My or anyone else's responses to existing threads don't alter the appearance or presentation of the start page. This thread is about a limitation in starting new threads.

And the most recent poster doesn't "have" a thread. Tom shouldn't use this thread as an opportunity to make personal attacks.

It is not a personal attack but a statement of facts.

As has been pointed out, this forum was created precisely to keep threads and posts not dedicated to Vegas and gambling in one place. No one who doesn't want to read the stuff that's here is compelled to.

And Iggo...your posts are also quite often "insane" and are just attempts to troll. Usually when you're bored and want to amuse yourself. But I wouldn't DREAM of advocating for your removal or the cancellation of your LVA membership! You have the right to say what you want, but you don't think others do.
