Oregon gives the Turd the finger--again

The DemocRAT obstruction continues - apparently Blue states have a problem cooperating and releasing information that other states readily produce.

They have a problem with the federal government trying to force them to enact a policy that is theirs to decide upon.

Red states screamed at the Biden and Obama administrations when they felt that their rights were being violated. Don't embarrass yourself with the stupid lie that only blue states protest federal actions that overreach.

They should absolutely be released. In full. No redactions.

States don't pay federal taxes. The people do. Should the people withhold taxes? Perhaps. But it won't make the feds release the files. And the IRS is a formidable enemy.

The people shouldn't pay federal taxes if those taxes are being used to violate their rights, perform illegal actions, or fuel corruption. I doubt that anyone would be thrilled to find out that approximately $600 of their tax money PER YEAR on an individual basis is going to expand Trump's military; that the war on and occupation of Venezuela will cost taxpayers at least $4 billion (and that's if nothing goes wrong); and that Trump's gilded throne room will cost each taxpayer about $10.

And of course, it costs a lot of money to drag out the National Guard or a gang of ICE thugs every time the Turd's hemorrhoids are acting up and he wants to punish a blue state for not having voted for him.

From an ethical point of view you may be entirely correct. But as I said, the IRS is a formidable enemy.

Not any more. It's toothless. MAGA has strenuously opposed allowing them enough funding to do their job. The Partee of Fizzkul Wesponsibiwity shot down a proposal to provide them with enforcement funding, even though it was projected that every dollar spent would generate five dollars in additional revenue.

This exposes the lie that Republicans tell us: that their goal is to reduce government spending and balance the budget. My ass! Their goal is to make millionaires and billionaires richer.

The Big Pig Bill REDUCED IRS funding. Then Elon and "Big Balls" (the teenager whom he put in charge of job destruction) kicked 3,000 IRS employees to the curb. You remember, because of all the wastefraudabuse.

I don't think I'm alone in my reluctance to pay into such a royally fucked-up system. And the more of us rebel, the better and easier it will be.

And when the next administration funds it heavily they will have no problem looking back a few years to get "their" payments.

Actually, they will...because by that time, years will have passed and their backlog will be so immense that they'll only chase down the easiest and most lucrative tax evasion cases.
