June 30 at 3:40 PM · BREAKING: Officials from the State of Oregon have made bold moves to prevent Christians from adopting and providing forever homes to children in need. Despite the fact that the state tries to match children with families of similar beliefs, Oregon is now requiring that ALL potential adoptive parents agree that they will affirm radical gender ideology — even agreeing to provide a child with access to dangerous procedures, like sterilizing puberty blockers. It’s both harmful and a blatant act of religious discrimination. Last year, nearly 8,000 children touched Oregon’s foster care system, and many are waiting for their forever homes. We need MORE loving families willing to take in children, not fewer. Alliance Defending Freedom has filed a lawsuit to defend the right of people of faith to adopt — without being forced to violate their religious beliefs.
