Well, David's always said that anyone who doesn't agree with him is stupid and/or a liar, so...and that constant statement of his is one of the most stupid lies anyone could ever utter.

I think with him at this point, as with so many others, it's a matter of cognitive dissonance. It's less painful for him to keep on repeating that absurdity than it would be to admit that he's been spouting bullshit all along.

And of course, his "defense" to that is to attack others and call them liars, even though that has nothing whatsoever to do with his lying. He's been deploying the "Him, too! Him, too!" defense since first grade.

      The only "absurdity" here is your constant twisting of the truth, i.e. - lying.

As expected, David's only defense to his touting of the Trump "big lie" is to call those who call him out on it liars.

As if that somehow makes him less of a liar or his big lie any less bullshit!
