Overwhelming majority suffer at grocery store

Americans suffer at grocery store

Meanwhile the president's top priorites are

-deporting day workers

-getting revenge on the little green men in the government

-starting fights with Late NIght hosts

-insulting foreign allies

-sucking up to foreign enemies

Somehow I dont think this plays out well in the midterms.

Yeah, I paid over $100 in groceries at my local supermarket and filled up 3 bags.  Mostly fruits, veggies, dairy and bread products.

I can't remember the last time I paid $100 for groceries at the supermarket before today.

Things are tough all over.

Yeah, well, AMURRICA said ITZ AWL BIDENZ FAWLT about post-covid inflation, and went for the Turd despite his six billion flaws and failings...so will Americans punish MAGA at the polls?

Where do you think the average American, sane or MAGA, places the blame for soaring grocery prices? I noticed that even MAGA propaganda isn't trying to hide it, and attempts to blame Biden are ringing pretty hollow (doesn't Millerscum sound stupid when he tries that?).

MAGA won in 2024 by pounding away on two issues: "Bidenflation" and trannies. A lie and a non-concern. So should Democrats ignore everything else and focus on Trumpflation in 2026?

I did the WalMart basket exercise today and saw a 4% increase just over the last three weeks. That's now a cumulative 26% increase for the exact same goods since mid-June. All groceries, mostly fresh fruit, milk, OJ, and yogurt. A few veggies.

Our gas prices jumped another 14 cents this week.

So much losing!

Somehow our gas prices have stayed 'stable' for the past year or two.   $2.69 -$2.89 a gallon.  Not great, but stable.  Can't recall under $2.00, or even below $2.50 for that matter.

I remember when it was $0.25 a gallon, but I was a teenager then.

We've gone from $2.49 to $2.99 over the last 8 weeks, at a time when demand reduces sharply and the refineries switch to the cheaper winter blend. The historic price change during this period has been minus 8 percent, so this price increase is even worse than it looks.

I talked today to a woman at Fred Meyer who said that her weekly grocery bill had gone up by $25 (she was shopping for her family), but while she had been prepared for that, filling her gas tank costing $5 more than last time added insult to injury.

Make sure to click on the chart and adjust to 5 year data.

Beef is up 14% year over year. Energy prices are up drastically. Trump promised to lower these on day one.  He promised energy prices would be cut in half by now. Which is it? Is Trump grossly incompetent or a dirty filthy liar?

A rhetorical question, Mark? He is obviously both incompetent and a liar. It is simply mind blowing watching all the MAGAs try to justify his position as the "leader" of the free world...

Where were these concerns/comments the last 4 years? Apparently brain dead Biden, who orchestrated the never before seen rise in inflation, gets a pass. As I stated before, fixing 4 years of corrupt DemocRAT governing will not happen overnight.
