Paid the Trump tax on underwear today

I am tired of all of these new Trump taxes: beef taxes, toy taxes, a tax on Christmas and a tax on Thanksgiving dinner. Today I paid a hefty tax on boxers. I tend to grab a pack of boxers at the Dollar General store when I need some new ones. For years they came in a 3-pack.

When I went to pick up a pack today, I noticed it felt odd in my hand. I looked at the label the 3-pack is now a 2-pack. That is a whopping 33% tax on underwear. Thanks Trump!  Shout out to Tom, David, Boiler and Aaron for their role in making all these new taxes possible. 

Pretty much everything I've shopped for in the last couple of months has been significantly more expensive and/or the quantity offered for the same price has been reduced. I give Walmart a lot of my business these days, as they do seem to be trying to hold the line on prices. And boy, are they busy these days.

The Turdiffs don't just affect directly imported goods. Almost everything made or grown in the US has some foreign component or substance consumed. The Turd doesn't understand that economic isolationism is a death sentence.

It's time for MAGA to chime in and tell us that everything is just bigly wonderful.

Oh, and Mark, it's actually a 50 percent underwear tax. Say your pack was $6 before; that's $2 a pair. Now, they're $3 each; that's a 50% increase.

it looks like Hanes, the brand you probably purchased at Dollar General sells in 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 packs depending on the market and store.  

So more telling would be, how much did you pay for the 3 pack when DG was selling it as a 3 pack?  But since you assumed 2 pack is the only option, it's...

TRUMP'S FAULT!

It's Trump's fault that consumer goods are much more expensive than they were last year. It's really simple, Iggo! Tariffs increase prices, and the Turd has slapped tariffs on billions of dollars' worth of imports.

Biden didn't do that, and trying to deflect blame from Trump by saying that ITZ AWL BIDENZ FAWLT is a special kind of MAGA stupid 

And Iggo darling...you're conflating inflation and tariffs. The idiot Turdiffs were 100 percent unnecessary. Inflation is the result of many internal and external factors. Tariffs are the result of idiotic policies, and BTW have never worked. Ever.

Inflation can be mitigated, not eliminated, via fiscal policy changes. Tariffs can be eliminated by putting a bullet through the brain of the idiot who enacted them.

So yes indeed, Trump's fault!

I find it rather amusing that none of you dumb cocksuckers who use "liberal" as some kind of insult have even the slightest idea of what the term actually means.

Iggo probably doesn't know or understand that the vast majority of our clothing is made abroad and thus, clothes are one of the categories of goods whose prices have been most increased by tariffs.

The Turd thinks that tariffs will somehow spark domestic production. But the reason why we buy our clothing from Asia in the first place is it's much cheaper, due to lower labor costs. If we made those boxer shorts here, they'd cost twice as much.

International trade is a fundamental good because it maximizes economic efficiency. That concept is utterly beyond the dumbass isolationist Turd.
