Using aggregate inflation during Biden's term is a Tom-stat. Dishonest and inaccurate for comparison purposes.

The MIT-Sloan study of inflation indicated that 42% of it was caused by Covid stimulus spending.  There was $5 trillion of stimulus spending.  $1.9 trillion was signed into law by Biden and $3.1 trillion by Trump.  Those involved with the study didn't have a opinion on if it was good or bad.  Taking 42% of 9.1% inflation is 3.8%.  Dividing it by the stimulus dollars will have 2.4% associated with Trump stimulus and 1.4% with Biden stimulus.  Here is the study: https://mitsloan.mit.edu/ideas-made-to-matter/federal-spending-was-responsible-2022-spike-inflation-research-shows

What MAGA never mentions is that inflation during Biden's term (I refuse to use the inaccurate phrase "under Biden") was partially caused by government stimulus THAT PROVED TO BE AN EXCELLENT IDEA, since our economy recovered from the pandemic more quickly and completely than almost any other in the world. Things like Tom criticize that inflation as if it had occured in a vacuum.

Aggregate inflation was 24%; the average was 5.9%.  kevin continues to have trouble with numbers.
