Pathetic Trump voters beg Trump for an exemption from his deportation plans

😆 Farmers and the construction industry are begging Trump for deportation exemptions.

Farmers:

It seems 50% of farm labor is performed by people without legal status.

Texas Construction Industry:

It seems 60% of construction workers in Texas are undocumented.

The industry is predicting a catastrophe in Texas with unfinished buildings, soaring insurance rates and people whose homes are damaged by adverse weather not being able to find anyone to fix their homes.

I think these folks are getting exactly what they voted for and they need to STFU.

Instead of asking for special treatment, maybe don't vote for the guy that wants to put you out of business the next time.

Easy remedy - hire people WITH legal status - as it should be.

That is exactly what they should do because that is what they voted for.

I agree - so what is your complaint?

My complaint is they are complaining for getting what they voted for and asking for exceptions to avoid the consequences of the polices they voted for.

Alabama kicked  the illegal immigrants during the Obama administration and punished employers whose hired them.....and then had to reverse course and  beg for them to come back.   Because Alabama farmers couldn't find any citizens willing to take those jobs and their crops rotted in the fields.

And you are going to see that exercise play out nationally now.

Trump and his team are going to initially focus on known criminal elements and those already assigned a deportation order. It's my hope he'll come up with some sort of exemption for ag workers with clean records to prop up the food chain and supply. He vowed to not mess with this group in his first term; we'll see.

Lets hope it more bluster than actual policy.   Given the people he is putting in charge I highly doubt it.

But the issue goes well beyond AG workers.     Immigrants do jobs across the board that are low skill, low pay, and low advancement......think dishwashers at restaurants, hotel maids, slaughter house workers, fast food employees.

Georgia also passed an anti immigration law in 2011 and reveresed course

What Happened to Georgia

"But Georgia also depends on its immigrant workers, who make up “16.1 percent of the service industry, 23.1 percent of the natural resources, construction and maintenance industry and 16.6 percent of the production, transportation, and material moving industry,”

If you get rid of these people you are going to have problems in many sectors of the economy beyond agriculture.

Think about those chumps in Flordia and their 10k a year in homeowners premiums.

Their premiums are going to get wacked from the Hurricanes and now all those roofing repairs will have to be done by American labor if you can even find it.

I wouldn't be suprised if their premiums double.

The point, dumb Millerscum, is that there aren't enough workers to do these low-paid, strenuous, and often dirty jobs--and the idiot MAGA goobers who voted for Hitler Lite are going to wake up and find that everything is going to hell because of labor shortages.

And like you, they'll complain and whine and bitch and moan--even though they'll be getting exactly what they voted for. Then, of course, you and the rest of the tiny-brained MAGAs will figure out some conspiracy theory to use to blame Democrats for it.
