Persecute - OR - Prosecute

The Trump statement, the one I read anyway, both are correct as regards the meaning.  But, better check with Professor Lewis.

Persecution, by definition, is an unjust action. Prosecution can be just or unjust. So no, not the same.

Of course, Trump simply chose those two words because they're similar, with his towering intellect and all. And he charmed Davey Dog with his scintillating wit and bon mot panache.

So Trump was only "correct" if you agree that he's being persecuted...but even then, he's still misusing those words because despite what he said, they are NOT equivalent; not the same thing at all.

I wasn't agreeing or disagreeing with what he thinks, just that it seemed to me the sentence structure was correct, whomever might be uttering it.

President Trump never said they were the same - he said that he was being persecuted AND prosecuted. Try and focus and comprehend what was said before you start shooting off your lying mouth.

David:  I'm taking anyone's side here and you know what political side I fall on.  But I want to ask you just one question.  Do you think Trump is a good person?  

    Yes. Like everyone, he has his flaws. He won't take any lying media and DemocRat shit. He was the darling of politicians and the media before he ran on "draining the swamp" - since then they have attacked him every day and in every way. Being outspoken has turned off some people who base their judgements mostly because the media has brainwashed them with non stop lies and on their "feelings" - not factual reality. There was no Russian collusion - (that was Hillary), the two fraudlent impeachments were exposed as nothing but lies, the Hunter Biden laptop has been proven real and now congress is proving President Trump correct when he said brain dead Biden was and is corrupt.  President Trump is America first and has proven that fact.  All one has to do is look at where America was, pre covid, and where America is now. I would take and vote for him over any other person running for president 100 times over. The worst that anyone can do is vote DemocRat and for brain dead Biden - they are ruining America, and only a fool can not see that. So yes, I do think that President Trump is a good person and is good for America.

He thinks that the Turd is the most magnificant human being to ever walk the earth, has never lied, has never committed a crime, has never made a mistake, and is a very stable genius.

David lies awake most nights dreaming of what Trump's dick tastes like.

So I predict his answer will be "yes."
