Toad's argument appears to be that Trump claiming that the Saudi government attempted to cover up the murder, is in fact, an attempt by Trump to cover-up the murder.

The cover up was keeping the Saudis from facing any consequences for their actions. There a lot of articles from that time that coverd Jared kushner's coaching of the Saudi Prince to avoid sanctions.
That is not a cover-up. This is all about Trumps decision to do business with Saudi Arabia after the murder. Sleepy has done the same, by the way. Sleepy's plan is FAR less transparent, by the way. He pleads with the Saudi to produce more oil, and sell it to anyone but the US. Then Sleepy arranges to buy the oil that the Saudi replaced. Never trust a Lyin' Liberal.

It is when you minimize what they did, and then go along with the Prince when he claimed it was rouge agents that did it. That was the cover up which was a story crafted by Kushner. And of course the Trump administration refused to conduct an investigation. So it's a bit hypocritical to be upset about the the golf merger when the guy you voted for covered up the crime and it didn't make you mad at all at the time.

I didn't like Trump doing business with the Saudi after the murder, or frankly before the murder. I haven't lied about a cover up, however.
Do you support oil related meetings that Biden has had and will be having with Saudi Arabia? He will be meeting with the man who arranged the murder of Khashoggi......and many more. Specifically, is this a Biden "cover-up"?
