Speaking of rallies; why did people who attended the phoenix rally have to show a govt issued id; but democrats object to photo id to vote?

Because that's the way the world works, like why do I have to show an ID to buy a beer when I'm clearly over 21? IDK, I just show my ID and enjoy my life.
Good point Tom. Maybe for the same reason people can't bring guns to a Trump rally even though conservatives think that makes things safer.

how about it?
I've referenced this several times, but I will again because I think it's funny. On April 24, 2024, boiler created a thread, "Why am I not surprised?", he blames CCN for not covering a newsworthy event, I post 9 minutes later the CNN article covering the event, and then followed up with a post showing a timeline of articles on the issue. Boiler never posted in that thread besides creating, he has no idea what the "liberal rags" are writing about, and when proven wrong, does the "MAGA" and disappears.

I am not complaining & max misses the point. But democrats say we can't have photo id to vote but insisted on a photo id to go to a rally.
A bit hypocritical.

So pj now agreed that a photo id is now required to vote?
Virginia, Ohio & Nevada just removed over 100k ineligible voters from their roles.

Not really, it's simplistic to say that If I believe people should show an ID at a liquor store then I must believe that people must show an ID any place they go to identify themselves.
As a side note, I don't care if people are required to show a government ID to vote, I also think the government then should issue an ID to everyone eligible at no charge.
I listened to a local conservative talk show on the radio a few weeks ago and he was interviewing a Harvard professor who has studied the impact of voter ID laws, he has found that in some cases it lowers the participation of Republican voters. With the populist MAGA movement taking over the GOP, they have attracted less educated and poorer people who tend not to have ID.
One other point, MAGA showed how much they try and reach for liberal hypocrisy when they compared Pelosi living in a walled community vs building a wall on the US/Mexico border. In real life is it as easy and effective to put a wall around a 4-acre property, as it is to build a 1,900 wall through the desert southwest?
Remember this is IRL.

It is obvious that you missed the point referenced in this statement ( but, then again, you miss a lot of points) - One other point, MAGA showed how much they try and reach for liberal hypocrisy when they compared Pelosi living in a walled community vs building a wall on the US/Mexico border. In real life is it as easy and effective to put a wall around a 4-acre property, as it is to build a 1,900 wall through the desert southwest? - the point was not about the act of constructing a wall, the point was about keeping out those who do not belong.

No...studies show it disenfranchises hundreds of thousands of legitimate voters in an effort to stop the single digit number of instances of voter fraud. Especially seniors.
And here's a fun fact.... Attending a rally is not a constitutional right. So I'm not sure what your point is.
