Although I like the fingerprint idea, it would weed out MAGA, there's no way MAGA would let the "deep state" government take their fingerprint to vote.

  Mail-in balloting is definitely a way to commit illegal voting which happened in the 2020 election. Voting for over 200 years without it was fine and did not have the option for fraud. If you are too lazy to go vote in person then you don't deserve to vote - the only exceptions would be for the military and/or those physically unable to get to the polls - as was the standard for decades. Voting should have the time frame extended to 2 or 3 days - then those that say they could not get to the polls on one specific day would not have an excuse not to go and vote.
