Citizens are NOT entitled to inflict grievous bodily injury on people THEY consider to be criminal suspects.

That's why we have police. And civilization.

This guy was entitled to protect his car.  I wish good guy would have broken two bad guy arms instead of only one.

Nope. He was entitled to call the police.
