President Biden pardons son Hunter, reversing course after pledging that he wouldn’t

The cherry on top of a corrupt administration - the DemocRat way -- President Biden pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, after the first son was convicted in two separate federal cases earlier this year. The announcement was made by the White House on Sunday night. "Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter," Biden wrote in a statement. "From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted." "Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form," the statement added. "Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently. - https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-pardons-son-hunter-biden-ahead-exit-from-oval-office

No one is above the law - Joe Biden

No, I will not pardon my son - Joe Biden

Will President Biden pardon Hunter?  No. - Press Secretary

****President Joe Biden pardons his son for any and all crimes committed over the last 10 years if he's been charged or not,  December 1, 2024

Will you pardon Hunter Biden, Mr. Trump?  No, wait and see, I think Joe will.  - Former President Trump.

Trump is usually right.  Drain this corrupt swamp.

Watch, Biden in an unusual move, that the Media said Trump would do, but didn't, Joe Biden Pardons himself for any crimes he committed since 2011.  Wait and see.

Biden is going out in flames and disgrace, he said he would be a one-term transition President and then decided to run again which helped Trump win his second term. I blame Biden for the Trump victory. Then he falls back on the "it was all political" bullshit to pardon his scumbag son when he said he wouldn't. He is a disgrace.

The politically powerful are starting to use "it was all political" to do anything they can to stay in power and punish their enemies. This is not a good trend. I would say it will end badly, but now it will never end.

Corrupt 😆 The two crimes Biden got convicted of simply aren't prosecuted.

As to the tax offense, those are always settled usually for less than owed and no admission of wrong doing. In fact Rodger Stone got a sweet deal, just a civil penalty, after being caught the second time not paying his taxes.

As to the gun offense, those simply aren't prosecuted as a stand alone crime.  If they were everyone that ever smoked weed and got a gun afterwards should be prosecuted and thrown in jail.

BTW: Trey Gowdy and Miss Lindsey agree with me. The both said that if Hunter's name wasn't Biden he would have never been prosecuted.

I

What's important here is that Biden lied repeatedly about any pardon/s for Hunter prior to the election. He'll have a more tarnished legacy to deal with because of it. This action shouldn't be a huge surprise for anybody.

Good point, Nines.   Joe Biden pardoned his son for purchasing and owning a handgun illegally (which ne never used) while he was an ex-con for drug offenses.

And Donald Trump will pardon Jan 6 "tourists" who used violence in an attempt to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power in an election he lied to them about the victor.

Something tells me your response for his pardons and lies wont rise to the level of scorn you have for Joe Biden.    Hmm.   I guess we'll find out.

owning a handgun illegally (which ne never used)

That is irrelevant.

What is interesting is that hunter was pardoned for crimes that he may have committed but not charged going back 10 years; basically covering up potential money laundering charges among others involving China, Ukraine & Burisma, for the biden gang.

But I concede Joe pardoning his son is a massive ethics stain on an otherwise pristine record.

The only reason behind the "pristine" record is the DOJ, FBI and Congress covering up and stonewalling all investigations.  joe was not indicted from keeping classified documents from his senate days but Trump as an ex president was raided and indicted.

joe was not impeached for threatening to withhold aid to Ukraine when they were investigating his son.

Then there were all the SARs that the biden gang had.

What's even more insteresting is Republicans and Trump have been investigating Hunter's "crimes" for 8 years even going so far as shaking down the president of Ukraine to dig up something on him.    And all they are left with is angry people on a Las Vegas Message board being angry about their goose egg.

I didn't say that Trump never lied or won't in the future.. or that he will / won't pardon certain individuals that don't deserve it. Do you still proclaim Biden as an honorable man as it relates to this pardon and his claims? Politicians as a group make a living as professional fibbers. I don't think you or I know the potential full extent of offenses that Hunter was just pardoned for. Regardless, it shouldn't have surprised anybody that the pardon happened.
