President Donald Trump has ordered troops to protect Portland, Oregon, and any Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities threatened by Antifa.

I applaud this event, as it will cost Trump AND all his lackeys tens of thousands of votes. You might say, and I'm sure Trump thinks, "They're all liberals anyway." But Metro Portland, which includes southwest Washington, has many conservative areas and Republicans have run competitive races for Congressional districts and other offices. But none of that will be competitive now!

Trump has instructed his ICE goons to conduct ostentatious raids, block traffic for hours, beat up protestors, and incite riots. The Antifa babble is, of course, just a pretext.

The Turd views this as a "punishment" for Oregon not voting for him. So, like so many of his recent moves, he's shooting himself in the foot. Anyone know how many millions of taxpayer dollars will be pissed away in this two-cent Gestapo exercise?

I certainly hope Trump escalates this stupid shit (though we know he hates escalators, lol!). The more disruption he causes, the more damage he does to himself.

  Portland was once a beautiful city. Now it is filled with homeless drug addicts. Tents fill public spaces and run down RVs along the side streets. This is what the left would do to the whole country if allowed to have free reign. -  Long overdue. I have refused to set foot into Portland and Seattle since 2019 until they clean up their act and the mess they have created... Not another dime. Sadly, they have already done irreparable damage to these once great cities. -

Multiple left-leaning news sources ( CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, Oregon Public Broadcasting, NY Times, others) have reported violent protests , riots, and property defacing by demonstrating protesters at the Portland ICE facility since June 2025. These news sources aren't Fox News. How should these violent incidents be handled, girls? Social workers? Yell trick or treat at em? Your left side approaches can't and won't solve these violent incidents and words aren't going to stop federal troop protection of ICE personnel and facilities.
