President Trump Acquitted of Both Impeachment Charges

"I don't think anyone who voted for Trump, having abused the privilege, should be allowed to vote again".

How Liberal of Kevin.

Actually, stupid, that's the exact opposite of a liberal point of view. It's Republicans who want to keep people they don't like from voting.

The analogy with drivers' licenses is apt. Everyone should be allowed to drive, until they abuse the privilege. And everyone should be allowed to vote, until they abuse the privilege by voting for someone like Trump.

Remember in the trial when Adam Schiff talked about how Trump would have "the head on a pike" of any Republican who dared to vote for impeachment?    Republicans shit their pants that Schiff would regurgutate such an unfounded rumor on the Senate floor.

But Has anyone seen the discourse from Republicans and Trump toward Mitt Romney this week?

Yeah - that rumor Schiff spouted was way out of bounds.

Yeah, some Con stooge called Romney a traitor for voting according to his conscience rather than Trump's orders.

Tinhorn dictators always demand absolute, blind loyalty from their stooges, and get VERY mad when they don't get it.

Say that forty-five times, but stopping people from voting is a cherished CONSERVATIVE tradition.

And once again, "liberal" should not be capitalized--it's not a proper name. You're pretty goddamn slow, aren't you?

Kevin Lewis writes: "I don't think anyone who voted for Trump, having abused the privilege, should be allowed to vote again, . . ."

And it is to counter just such partisan revenge schemes that the United States has adopted the secret ballot.

DonDiego is 100% incorrect when he describes opposition to Trump as "partisan." The truth is, any American--any decent person--should be adamantly opposed to Trump and Trumpism. Democrat or Republican.

I know that's been a persistent Con meme. Dislike Trump--criticize him--and you're a "traitor."

And for what it's worth, the ballots don't enter into it. The majority of Trump voters make no bones about their evil and treason. They're actually proud of it (or, so ashamed that they feel they have to act proud). I've gotten complimentary unsolicited MAGA lectures from dozens of unhinged psychos, in settings and contexts as innocuous as ordering a cup of coffee at McDonald's. They want you to hear their holy message!

I don't want "revenge" on Trumpers. I just want them to be blotted out of public life--for the same reason that I don't want a drunken asshole to come to my cocktail party or to share a cab with a guy fondling a gun. I don't want to share space with repulsive and dangerous people.

I am sure that Der Furher "hears" all kinds of "messages".....

Stalker doesn't understand that Hitler died in 1945. He must be hallucinating...
