President Trump Acquitted of Both Impeachment Charges

Actually, every single country on earth has a mixture of capitalism and socialism, including the US, China, and even...Venezuela.

See, this is a bit too complicated for our Trumpers to truly understand. It's never either-or. Capitalism goes on in primarily socialist countries. Socialism goes on in primarily capitalist countries. That will always be the case.

What Western Europe actually has is social democracy within a capitalist framework. The US has capitalism with elements of social democracy. But stating the situation like that moves beyond the comprehension of our Trumpers.

What's hilarious is that they object so strenuously to socialism and don't even know what socialism IS! That's manifestly obvious from their posts.

Yeah, but each generation of old, nasty white guys gets a little more progressive than the preceding.    The wars we have about "liberal" vs "conservative" are usually, ultimately won by the liberals.   Its just a matter of how long it takes to drag the nasty, old white guys along.

The current generation of old, nasty white guys is largely cool with interracial marriages,  women working , atheism,  rock music, gays in the miitary.   Compare that to the nasty old white guys from as recent as 1980.

Just think - the next generation of old, nasty white guys will likely be cool with things like green energy,   universal healthcare, and maybe even chicks-with-dicks.   WHo knows?    They might even think democracy is a better way tio pick a president than affirmative action for old,nasty white guys (the electoral collegs).

The replacements will indeed be old white guys but won't be as nasty. The current crop acquired their worldview in the 1950s and 1960s, and after that, progressivism crept into the American landscape. Nasty returned for a while during the Reagan era.

The other factor in play is that the proportion of old white guys is diminishing as exactly what they fear most is happening--THEM MESSKINS IS TAKIN' OVER THA COUNTRY. While we do have a pretty shitty sham imitation of a democracy (see: Trump), the greater weight of non-white people is being and will be felt.

The nasty old white guys made this country what it is, all right--they kept slaves, slaughtered the Indians, were corrupt thieves, and turned our government into a rule-by-money kleptocracy. And now, they haven't evolved at all--they've given us Trump, and have sold their souls to support him.

California is a pretty nice place, actually--Stalker's dumb photos were of an entirely different city nowhere near California (I'm not going to clue him in as to how easy it was to tell). If California was a country, it would have the eighth largest economy in the world! Pretty strange how all them liberal snowflakes with their sanctuary cities manage that, eh?

As I said, though, the age of the nasty old white guy is coming to a close, and pretty soon, there won't be any MAGA-hat-wearing relatives ruining your Thanksgiving dinner by screaming at everyone about Trump's bigly wonderfulness. The people are retaking this country, and though the process will be long, drawn-out, and painful, people like Stalker will be...extinguished. (And they're afraid--that's why they scream so loudly!)
