Of course, Tommy. Your orange master will definitely win this war. Except he told us it's already over. He won.

If you think the regime cares whether or not it runs out of money, then you don't is understand how things work there. They'll starve their own people. They'll cut deals with China, Russia, North Korea, etc. to buy more weapons in return for future oil sales. And BTW the US blockade doesn't prevent Iran from exporting oil. Look on a map.

The army will behave, because anyone who complains will be shot. And whatever money there is will be paid to them.

So we can turn Iran into an impoverished wasteland and kill a few million people. How does that help us?

The same holds true for all the countries who depend on their oil and fertilizer.

Global  airlines (include the US)  are cancelling routes because of predicted fuel shortages.  Global farmers (including ours) cant afford to pay the massive increases in fertilizer costs.     

So which populations break first?  Thats the game of chicken our president unilaterally initiated.    I dont know how it plays out.  I just know this didnt have to happen....and there's going to be alot of economic pain for everyone when its all done.

The Iranian people will suffer the most; any dissent will be brutally suppressed. Next to suffer will be the American people; any dissent will be brutally suppressed.

The part I find infuriating is that Trump pooh-poohs the pain he's causing, but he's never experienced any such pain himself and doesn't even understand it. 

Stupid Tommy doesn't understand that both the Ayatollah and the Turd will impoverish and starve their people before they give in. So Iran runs out of foreign exchange? So what? Only a fool (Tommy; Trumpy) thinks that will make them give up.

Iran has lost almost all of their revenue and is on the verge of collapse.

Oh, they realize the difference. They know that unlike Obama and Biden, Trump lies and breaks agreements. That's one reason why they're in no hurry to cut a deal with him.

How do you know that Iran "is on the verge of collapse"? Or are you just cheerleading for your orange master? 

They can grow their own food, produce their own energy, etc. And I'm sure Russia or China will sell them weapons on very generous terms. They're not in any real trouble. Their citizens will suffer greatly, but the regime? They won't be affected at all.

Their people are used to suffering and dont have the ability to revolt.     

The same is not true just about everywhere else.

I would truly like to see them rise up and overthrow their government. Trouble is, the times in history when such a revolt has replaced a totalitarian regime with a genuine democracy have been quite rare. What usually happens is that some strongman rises up and takes over, and the new boss is the same as the old boss.

Even worse, that new boss could turn out to be Trump. He'd loot the place, just like he was planning to loot Venezuela before he got bored and switched to Iran.

I do feel sorry for them. Every indication from travelers who have gone there is that the people are wonderful and the culture and history are fascinating. Rick Steves did an episode on his travels there several years ago, pre-Turd. He was obviously having to walk a tightrope, but they did let him into a lot of places. They even gave him some latitude re what he could say.
