It was very cool to see Airforce One and the presidential motorcade on thursday up close. And there was not any negitive political comments as our bus was heading to the airport.  Fun times

Where was this?

Las Vegas airport for the plane, and right at the tunnel for the motorcade.  They went hauling ass right past us

What was the Turd doing in Vegas? A MAGA hate rally?

Probably something, anything to avoid dealing with the Iran war. Maybe some meeting or event of some IDIOTPAC Trump-slave organization.

Still, I agree, it must have been cool to see that, especially since it was quite the coincidence that you were there at just that moment. I must confess, I would have been intrigued to see Hitler's motorcade zoom by as well. Or even Stalin's May Day parade, with all them tanks and missiles.

Do you know if Trump stopped to play slots at the airport before he took off?

It was a "roundtable" cobbled together for Trump to garner praise for the "no tax on tips" in his BBB, to promote the upcoming mid terms.  Vegas being the city with so many tipped workers.  Waiters, dealers, bellmen, etc.   At a hotel downtown, not a casino hotel.  Ostensibly in promo for the midterms.

Thanks, Candy. I doubt that's selling. Those same workers are paying so much more for food and gas because of Trump's stupid shit, that has to be negating any tax savings from the Big Pig Bill.

Also...workers in Vegas who don't earn tips, like housekeepers, cooks, custodians, clerical workers, etc. etc. probably aren't all that thrilled, since this change widened the net income gap between them and the tipped workers, who earn the most money in the casino.aside from the execs. Those non-tipped workers probably don't see why someone who earns six times as much as they do should get a tax break.

This looks very much like Trump scurrying away from the consequences of his stupid war and desperately casting around to find someplace where people would praise him.

I think the no tax on tips and overtime expire in 2028 so it wil be an election issue with some voters

The huge increase in the cost of living will be an issue for all voters. Especially if the Turd lives until then and continues to fuck us over with his idiotic nonsense.

I don't think anyone who earns primarily tip income and gets a tax break will be happy with $10 gas and historically high food prices.

People vote to raise other peoples taxes, not their own.  And yes one of the big reasons some people would not touch Kamala was high prices and inflation, so if gas prices are still high in November the republicans will probably lose more seats

I believe that you under estimate the intelligence of voters.
