Professional Right-Wing Victim Exposed As Fraud

I didn't even know who Andy Ngo was until Bob brought him up a few days ago. Apparently, he was riding high on the wingnut welfare tour claiming he was a victim of Antifa and selling himself on Fox News and other conservative outlets as an anti-violence expert. Of course, the reason he was loved on Fox News was that he claimed that liberals were the ones committing violence and pretended like he didn't know of any rightwing violence.  An undercover journalist exposed Mr. Ngo and Mr. Ngo has since lost his job.

Another person he includes in the “grifter” category: Andy Ngo, a conservative writer who’s built a Twitter persona around filming fights between antifa and right-wing extremists (that, and trying to convince people that hate crime allegations raised by LGBTQ+ Portlanders are simply “hoaxes”).

Ngo tags along with Patriot Prayer during demonstrations, hoping to catch footage of an altercation. Ben says Ngo doesn’t film Patriot Prayer protesters discussing strategies or motives. He only turns his camera on when members of antifa enter the scene.

“There’s an understanding,” he says, “that Patriot Prayer protects him and he protects them...

...As the group waits, they discuss their weaponry. A few men try to guess which way the wind's blowing to avoid getting "spray" in their eyes, presumably when they use it against members of antifa. Another man holds a thick wooden dowel, and practices swinging it like a baseball bat. A woman carries a red brick in her hand. Some don goggles, helmets, and tactical gloves.

"Who's texting Joey?" Someone asks when the group seems to be without a game plan. Another man says, “Tell Joey and them to hurry the fuck up.”

Ben captures someone telling a person on speakerphone, "There's going to be a huge fight," and gives them directions to Cider Riot.

Ngo doesn’t film any of the conversations, and smiles when the group cracks jokes.

“He overheard everything,” Ben recalls, “and said nothing.”

We all understand--no, scratch that, those of us who have functioning brains understand--that all the lunatic right-wing goon organizations are inherently violent and that the only way they can think of to make their points is to physically attack people. Oh yeah, and then lie about it.

But I'm sure some of them are "very fine people." LOL.

Screw the first amendment. If a writer is a conservative, he is asking to be beaten by the peaceful, mask-wearing, lunatic leftwing violent mob known as antifa. Mark and Kevin support this mob and their violence. Andy Ngo wasn't the only conservative beaten by antifa that day. How many leftist counter protesters were beaten that day? NONE.

Sweet Old Bob loves them Nazis! Very fine people!

The First Amendment doesn't protect fraud. Lying, yes (thus Fox News). Fraud, no.

What I find so fascinating about Bob's response is his reaction to getting conned.  He isn't angry at the con artist that played on his prejudices and deceived him. He is angry the guy got caught.

Bob you might want to read the articles I linked to above. Ngo and his entire crew were running the con.  He wasn't just one lone wolf. They would intentionally target places they thought liberals frequented. They would go in with their bats, bricks and other weapons and instigate violence. Once the liberals responded, Ngo began recording. Then the video would be uploaded claiming that the poor old peaceful conservatives that traveled to a liberal city to sightsee were ambushed by violent Antifa. Ngo would go on Fox News and play the victim. You, Fox News, the rest of the conservative media and the entire conservative population ate it up.

I didn't post this here, but interestingly enough, the guy that started the Portland march was also caught on video describing this tactic to bait the liberal counter-protesters into attacking them so they could record it. The whole f***ing thing is a con ran by the conservative politicians to take the pressure off of right-wing politicians who incite violent murders with their nonstop race-baiting and scapegoating.

Of course. Antifa is just a straw-man target for Trump, Fox News, etc. They aren't even remotely comparable to the extremist hate groups that Sweet Old Bob loves.

You'd think that Bob would be ashamed, if not about his love for violent extremist neo-fascist groups, then about his extreme Trumper gullibility.
