If you are pronounced dead when your heart stops, why aren't you pronounced alive when it starts?

That's a question based on a false premise.
One: you are not, in fact, pronounced dead when your heart stops
Two: if you're making some kind of abortion argument, a fetus cannot be pronounced dead, because it was never alive
Glad I could clear that up for you.

If a fetus is not alive, as you say, how does it continue to grow, if not aborted, into a child? When your heart stops and can not be revived, you ARE pronounced DEAD.
