Raid! FBI Raids Michael Cohen’s Office

The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress.

The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search. The F.B.I. also seized emails, tax documents and business records, the person said.

I am sure Doc will be along any minute to tell us how once again this is a big nothing burger.

How ironic the porn star is going to slay the President. I guess it really is true not all heroes wear capes.  

I read the "story" and am quoting one reply that essentally says it all, quote - "the Jerry Springer base screeches and runs in a tiny circle". 

LOL Doc! They got a search warrant.  That means Muller has established to the satisfaction of a Federal Judge that probable cause exists that Federal Crimes have been committed and evidence of such crimes can be found in Cohen’s office.  Cohen and Trump gave Muller a free layup with their public statements about the payment.  Don’t forget they prosecuted John Edwards on the same underlying facts.

That's the official story from birth-certificate guy.    It really is.  

The corruption of the FBI under Mueller and Comey knows no boundries. Cohen and Clifford/Daniels aren't even in Mueller's perview of investigating Russian collusion. They also didn't only raid his office, likely confiscating all attorney/client privileged information on everyone Cohen deals with or has dealt with as an attorney. Mueller, and every member of his Clinton loving/Trump hating team needs to be gone. They have been overstepping and abusing their power since well before the election. 

Bob here is what we know.  This wasn’t part of the Mueller probe.  Mueller turned this over to the United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York. The guy that heads that office is a Republican Trump appointee.  His name is Geoffrey S. Berman, and he was also a Trump campaign donor. This guy's office took this to the judge. And the judge found that there was probable cause that crimes were committed.  

Now in addition to Republican Robert Mueller leading the investigation of Trump on Russian related matters, you have the Southern District of New York led by a Republican Trump appointee conducting a sperate Federal investigation into Cohen and Trump to look at bank fraud, wire fraud, and campaign finance violations.  It is kind of hard for anybody that has a handle on the facts to conclude that today's actions were somehow biased against Trump. 

What's corrupt about it?    The Monika Lewinski scandal was derived from Ken Star's investigation into Vince Foster's death.   The counsel has the ability to go wherever the inteliigence takes him.  

And right now he smells bullshit on the idea that Trump's Lawyer would pay hush money out of his own pocket to a porn star that did not have an affair with Trump.    I think he's got a pretty good nose...or maybe just a functioning brain stem,

If Trump is smart, he will spend the day preparing his exit strategy.

President Trump's exit strategy is already set for 7 years from now. Get used to it.

I hate to be the one to break it to you Doc, but if anything that was siezed from Cohen yesterday shows that Trump knew about the payment to Stormy, he will be on the hook as a co-conspirator for anything Cohen gets charged with.
