A great deal for the unions, a terrible deal for the country
No wonder the union settled. They got a 24% increase over 3 years, a $5,000 bonus & more days off. The cost of transporting goods & a factor in inflation going up. (8% annual increase), when the biden gang is saying inflation is either coming down or no big deal (depends on who is talking
Good for them ! Railroads have been prinitng money which almost exclusively has been going to investors and executives.
Talk to anyone who works in a rail yard and they'll tell you the same story about abusive work conditions. The biggest gripe they have is unpaid sick time and bereavement. Do you get sick days and bereavement days with your job Tom? Can you imagine a multi-billion dollar company that didnt give those things to its workers?
This is another great issue that shows which party is sticking up for workers and which one isnt. Tom has chosen his side. Good luck with that.
Ain't it amazing how someone who is "brain dead" can accomplish so much--even though someone who is "brain-dead" is, well, um, y'know...dead? As in, not alive?
I properly insert the hyphen into this term, even though my third-graders sometimes struggle with such concepts (some just don't get words like "red-haired"). I suppose I should expect no better from our MAGOO gang, given that their educations screeched to a halt well before the completion of third grade.
Also keep in mind that this dead person apparently has a magic wand that makes the price of everything in the world go up--but it only works one way (gas prices going down recently is the result of um, oooh, er, Mitch McConnell farts).
