Mark, you're referring to the nuke facilities per se rather than the air defense mechanisms..I heard the same thing ( that they are not, in fact, totally obliterated as Trump claimed). Embellishment is part of his natural conversation, absolutely. There appears to be ' very significant damage' to the three involved site hits, though.
I LOVE how you spin "Trump lies more often than he farts" into "embellishment is part of his natural conversation." True wordsmithing!!😂😂😅
That aside, the "mission" was to destroy those facilities. Nobody, probably not even the Iranians at this point, knows to what extent that was accomplished. However, it's very, very, very unlikely that in the wake of all this saber-rattling, Iran left any critical or irreplaceable equipment exposed. And for anyone who says it would be impossible to move...the reality is that the equipment to build a nuclear warhead would fit easily into a small office.
Furthermore, there's no evidence that these three sites were the present locations of Iran's nuclear weapons program, or that if they were, they were the only sites.
Also, as Israel has learned when trying to blow up schools and hospitals in Gaza, it's pretty difficult to totally destroy buildings with single air attacks.
So did the US destroy Iran's nuclear weapons capability? Very, very unlikely. Most plausible scenario is, it was slowed down somewhat. As far as preventing it indefinitely goes...that's a pipe dream. Iran has the science and the resources.
