Nice chart, but it has nothing to do with the present handling of the DemocRat inflated debt.

It has everything to do with the TRUMP tax cuts and how they drastically increased the deficit.

However, the debt limit that David and his heroes are bitching about has nothing to do with the deficit. And speaking of "bluffing"--the RepubliQ aren't stupid enough to destroy America's credit rating. This is all just political theater.

Your response is laughable - about as worthwhile as the current DemocRatic administration.

Al you have done is run your lying mouth.

Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are idiots, much like the OP.

pj's chart ignores the fact that the  spending was approved by Congress by a huge majority

Revenue

 FY 2021 $4.05 trillion

FY 2020 $3.42 trillion

FY 2019 $3.46 trillion

FY 2018 $3.33 trillion

FY 2017 $3.32 trillion

Federal tax revenue since the Trump tax cuts increased by 22% so kevin lies again.  Spending increased by 47% from $3.982 to $5,800.

It is a spending problem not a revenue problem, but this has been pointed out before

Stupid Tommie-poo fumbles and stumbles again. Federal revenue would have increased by much more without the Trump tax cuts, and a deficit would not have been created. Stupid Tommie-poo has a foggy brain. Just because revenues increased by very small amounts doesn't mean that the Trump tax cuts didn't hurt the bottom line. Without those cuts, the increased spending would have been easily covered.

The spending was necessary, though of course stupid Tommie-poo would argue against it. The Trump tax cuts forced the government to finance that spending with borrowing rather than tax revenue. Fortunately, the cost of that spending was low. But the "party of fiscal responsibility," led by the Orange Turd, forced it to happen.

Stupid Tommie-poo.
