While it's difficult to find any coherence in Trump's random babbling and pulled-out-of-his-ass actions and policies, I do detect a common theme: isolationism.
If there's one consistentcy, it's that the Turd has systematically alienated ALL of our friends and allies, broken treaties, destroyed trade, and bully-boyed every leader he's talked to, with the exception of a few beloved fellow dictators. And for what? Why?
The only thing I can think of is that every time he's tried to poke a claw into another country to start a scam there, he's been rebuffed. Mexico tossed him out of Baja. China told him to pound sand when he wanted to build casinos there. Europe told him he would have to follow EU environmental and personnel laws, and he couldn't bully his way out of that.
So as a businessman as well as a head of state, his relationships with other countries have been total failures. Is that what we're seeing now--simple petty vindictiveness? Or are there other factors driving his idiotic isolationism?
