Trump managed to humble a "liberal media boogeyman."

The reality from the debate is that America is in trouble. When a lying racist lout and a too old and feeble opponent are the presidential candidates, America loses. For these two to be running is PATHETIC! For the HoR to be held hostage by an elderly mad woman and the Senate led by an old fool is PATHETIC! Compromise is no longer on the table, only the far left and right dogma that refuses to negotiate. America is in TROUBLE!

 "racist lout"?  Give ONE example of his racism. You saying "America is in TROUBLE" is correct - anyone voting DemocRatic has to be blind as to who the DemocRats are and their agenda.

Trump supporters don't care if you think he is corrupt, incompetent, deranged, and so on. All they need to do is convince you that everyone else is just as bad.

It won't work.

It's absolutely HILARIOUS that Wallace is being criticized by the right. He was specifically picked because of his ongoing role as the most "reasonable" of the Fox News Trump stooges. During the debate, he sometimes tried to stop Trump from interrupting but usually just let him blather on. The right-wing media is now saying that Wallace was too tough on Trump and too easy on Biden. That's ludicrous.

In my experience, it's the kids who misbehave the most that get spanked the most. Wallace was clearly primed to give Trump a free pass on almost everything, but Trump used that as an excuse to go absolutely batshit hog-wild. Therefore, he tried to spank Trump a couple of times. Didn't work.

I would like to see the next debate moderated by a fourth-grade teacher. He/she would have extensive experience in dealing with little misbehaving Trumps. (If we have to have another one at all, that is.)

The fact that more than, say, twenty people voted for Trump AFTER seeing what a jerkass he is, never mind the fact that he had ZERO (zip, zilch, nada) government experience, is the real problem with this country. Two persons applied to the American people for the most important job in the country, and almost half of them hired the one who was grossly unqualified for the job.

Here, I'm not even talking about Trump's assholery. It's conceivable that a complete asshole could still be a competent president (example: Lyndon Johnson) or that a very nice guy could be an incompetent one (example: Jimmy Carter). It was clear from day One (actually, well before then) that Trump was massively unfit for the job. People hoped he would "grow into it." They were disappointed; he hasn't learned jack-diddly.

There is even less reason to vote for Trump than there was last time. Yet, millions of people will vote for him. That makes one's skin crawl.
