Refunds? $20.6 billion

Yikes, the tariff surplus that our MAGA friends were so excited about during the failed DOGE fiasco are now going back to the companies that paid it. The consumers who paid higher prices because of it get... nothing. Seems anti-MAGA to me, but their ethics blow in the wind, who knows, they might like paying more for nothing.

I'm suspecting that the only reason even those refunds are going out is that some or even most of the companies getting them are Trump buddies.

I processed my own $1,138 tariff refund by withholding my income tax payment. I filed as usual, and attached a letter explaining why. Saved the government some trouble.

(This is where one of our MAGA fucktards will be unable to resist calling me a "tax cheat." But the reality is that if the federal government steals from me, I owe them nothing. And nor do any of us.)

The corporations get the rebates.    Not consumers.

nice, huh?
