Relief Bill - Where it Stands Today

Video of  the Relief Bill and why it is held up - https://fb.watch/296zqCTTsL/

Republicans are demanding that business lunches be 100% deductible and that businesses escape any liability for safety failures regarding Covid. I'm thinking that their priorities are a bit screwed up.

Think harder.

The good news is another round of stimulous seems likely.   The bad news is lazy deadbeats like David MIller  wont get another welfare check for $1200.

The good news might be that Americans who are in need will get financial relief.

Republicans have shown for decades that they care about businesses, not people. The liability blanket protection makes no sense at all, but has been an absolute Republican priority. And the business lunch nonsense---essentially, making the American taxpayer pay for fancy executive lunches---is even more egregious.

Moscow Mitch wants the average Joe to get as little as possible. He's discovered the "fiscal prudence" that somehow escaped him when he shoved through Trump's massive ($1.9 trillion) tax breaks for the rich.

It's hilarious that the House passed a $2.2 trillion stimulus bill months ago, and Mitch offered $500 billion--less than a quarter of that---and he's painting the Democrats as the ones blocking the stimulus. It's as if you were selling a used car for $5,000, I offered you $1,000, you refused, and I started screaming at you for being too stubborn to make a deal.

What an ignorant post. Millions suffer while Pelosi plays games with their lives and jobs.

Pelosi passed a stimulus bill months ago. Moscow Mitch has been sitting on it ever since.

So whose fault is it?

Pelosi's fault.

Pelosi's fault.

Wrong. Stupid answer. Pelosi got a stimulus bill passed months ago. The House can't do anything if the Senate doesn't consider the bill. How is Mitch's refusal to consider the bill Pelosi's fault?

You know, you really say some stupid things to support your Trump-hyperpartisan Republihole point of view.
