"Several factors contributed to . . . high gas prices": Really! During the last four years, the only "factor" Tom mentioned was who was president. Now it seems to be more complicated than a simple confusing of correlation and causation. I wonder why?

The simple concept "correlation does not imply causation" truly baffles a lot of people, and Tom may be one of them, particularly since he constantly employs the former to "prove" the latter. Like, how can we complain about high prices under Trump when there was 9% inflation under Biden? (I don't have to detail the breathtaking inanity of that oft-asked stupid Tom-question )
