TRUMP: "I'm not confident. That's not our war —it's their war."

He's right on this one. These factions have been trying to kill each other for centuries; there's no reason to assume they'll stop. Diplomatic attempts are worth it and we should continue those on these issues, but , realistically, they like beatin each other up.
I think it goes beyond beating each other up, they want to completely eliminate the other religious sects. Kind of like Kevin, he wants to have the government genocide the Republicans. I think its inbreeding, there is something wrong with their genes and formation of their brains.

Yet, he's repeatedly promised to "end" that war--even though he has no authority and no agency in the conflict. Same with the Ukraine war.

That's absurd. They're human beings, like everyone else.
Just a few days ago Aaron was bragging about how terrified Hamas was of Trump and thats why they signed the peace deal. You know, 'cause otherwise all hell was going to break loose. Now he's putting on his bone spur boot and Aaron is wqaiving his pom-poms for that too!
Trump is caught lying on day 1.
And he's already said he wont be bringing down grocery prices so its not even his first lie.
BUT - He did pardon the terrorists. I'll give him that. So he hasnt lied about everything.

"Beatin each other up" was inferred to mean ' kill each other'; it's just what these factions do..and like.We can and historically have delayed it with diplomacy..but they enjoy it too much and always return to it.

That's stupidly judgmental. To say that an entire people/ethnicity/group/country LIKES war, simply because they've recently and often been engaged in it, is breathtakingly inane.
You could say the same thing about the violent fascist United States, right? In the entirety of our existence, what do you think the ratio of years at war:years not at war is? I'll leave that one for your homework.
The peoples of the Middle East are in continuing (not constant) conflict for several reasons:
1) Religious and ideological differences
2) A resource-poor area, which forces neighboring peoples into close proximity
3) The perpetual interference of nations from other areas
4) The region is a geographical crossroads
For that matter, you could take even a cursory look at European history and geography and conclude that "these people can never get along," which you could (wrongly) extrapolate to "Violence is in their nature, and they secretly enjoy it."
And as always, as one often has to explain to sexists...even in these mythical "love violence" lands, 3/4 of the population just wants peace and the opportunity to live their lives: women and children. Macho culture has had a LOT to do with human violence throughout history.
Yeah..sure. Whatever you say, Sebastian. One thing they sure don't like is each other..and their religious disparities fuel it. You can't talk history away, no matter the related effort. Now, say something nice about Iran..I dare ya.

I'm sure that calling me "Sebastian" was a devastating insult, but it went right past me. But if you want to talk about religious disparities--those aren't necessarily fuel for conflict. We in the US live together with a lot of reigious disparities--Catholicism, Judaism, Trumpism, Alcoholism...but in Renaissance Europe, minor doctrinal differences caused wars that lasted for decades. So it's a matter of toleration, brought about by societal influences, not any ethnicities' inherent appetite for conflict.
Iran isn't germane to this discussion, because its surface theocracy is just a veneer covering up a brutal dictatorship that doesn't adhere to its own professed religious tenets. It's no more an Islamic republic than the Soviet Union was a communist country.
I for one am tired of focusing on the supposed differences among groups of humans ("THEY" are just inherently warlike) and would rather pay attention to the similarities (we all want to see our children grow up safe and healthy).
