The Republiholes scam Milwaukee

Boiler thanks PJ for pointing out that Indiana Republicans support a business friendly environment, leading to massive recent investment within our state.  It's a wonderful thing.  I can only wonder why they didn't put this money in California??

Well you've gone from denying the success of the Chips Act to acknowledging.   You're making progress.

The records are clear.

Biden delivers results.  Trump delvers talk and nothing else.

PS - California is the leading chip manufacturing state in the US.

I wonder if Kevin has ever been to Milwaukee? He'd love it, full of demcrats, chicks with dicks and plenty of crime!

No, idiot, I'm saying that the question of funding the Republihole Trump-fest wasn't put before the voters, or they would have shot it down.

Kevin is correct.  The deal was cut with stupid Democrat politicians that stupid Democrat voters put into office.

Those Indiana Republicans, ALL of them, voted against the bill that is now funneling hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars toward their home state.

Ask them about that, and why they're suddenly so enthusiastic.

Please fill us on the referendum that Indiana voters were against

And those city councils are elected by the voters, so putting a decision in their hands is not much different than putting it to a direct vote. But didn't I already say that the voters didn't get asked whether or not to fund the Trump love-fest? Can't you read?

Stupid Tom lacks cognitive ability, so I'm posting this link not for him, but for anyone else who's curious.

Apparently, Kevin wants a city wide vote on all conventions.  That would end so well.....sarcasm.

Libs vote for stupid Libs.

The Chips act was a good idea....for national security reasons.  California will be seeing little such new business going forward.  They have made doing business there less profitable than almost everyplace.

I find it childish how MAGA has to label every state red or blue and then always believe the red states are better, but of course, that's how Trump acted as President.

The ruskie loving MAGA Boilerman has dropped in to drop some lies, let's take a look at the Biden signed CHIPs Act. In the Senate 17 Republicans voted for the act and in the House 101 Republicans voted for it, pretty bipartisan for these times, and we need to give the Dems some credit for working with Republicans to get it passed.

In California: $35.5 billion of investment was generated by the Act.

In Indiana:    $27.4 billion of investment was generated by the Act.

The CHIPS Act Has Already Sparked $450 Billion in Private Investments for U.S. Semiconductor Production - Semiconductor Industry Association (semiconductors.org)

It looks like Cali has benefited as well, along with many other states, all because of the work Joe Biden put into passing this bill along with a bipartisan group of Senators and Representatives. MAGA is against bipartisanship, it's up to the RINOs and Dems to get it done.

Yes, when a MAGA love-fest drains the city's coffers and shuts down local businesses, the decision should be put in the hands of those most affected--the voters who live and work there.

I know that democracy is an alien concept to you.
